H.E.C.U. kit is loud on purpose

The military clothes are in the mod list. They are not the uniform for a grocery run.

H.E.C.U. looks like a plan and weighs like one. I wore the full kit to the warehouse and spent the first fight tired, because the grid and the clothing weight stack, and first person does not give you a courtesy camera when you are slow. The kit is for a planned shot, away from the laundromat, with a sling and a way home that is not a sprint.

What I actually take when the job is “loud on purpose”: the rifle, two magazines I counted, the sling, and one blunt tool for the moment the rifle becomes a liability indoors. Alice’s sling is the difference between a long gun and a piece of furniture in Knox. Buttstroke is the indoors plan. If you are in a bathroom, you are not in an H.E.C.U. moment. You are in a spear moment, or a shove moment, and the vest can stay on only if you can still move.

The armor crate is the bottom shelf in the back room, not the tool dryer. If you borrow plates, they come back. They are not a personal skin. I found one set on a chair at someone else’s safehouse, which is a sentence I dislike writing. Bring it home. Sweat is fine. A missing plate is a conversation.

Gael’s guns and the firearm compatibility mod both need their jars. If the rifle is a beige rectangle, stop the run and fix ZombieBuddy. A beige rectangle has started fights on this server that were really a denied prompt.

Ammo math, because Caliber said “two magazines” and I have watched a third magazine leave in a coat. Count them onto the table, say the number in chat, put the unfired ones back on the same table. The base does not have a secret armory. It has this shelf. Medieval weapons and the bushcraft blades stay available for the days you do not get to be loud. Use them. They are not starter trash.

The noise rule is unchanged by the quality of the kit. A nicer rifle is a louder mistake. If you want a range, walk until the base is a rumor, fire, and do not lead the street back to the sheets on the west wall.
