A private co-op with two maps and a bad name

Project Zomboid is at pz.cummytummy.com. Tekxit 4 is at mc.cummytummy.com. You do not open a port on your router. The pages under Wiki, Rules, and Board are the server itself: how the mods behave, who may take the van, and what a meteor is allowed to smash.

Read this before you connect

The join steps below are the door. They are not the whole building. Zomboid on this server is build 42.21 with Viewpoint, Knox Inventory, and a skill journal that has to stay on the hall table. Tekxit is pack 16.8.4, not whatever build the Technic page currently calls newest. Claims on that pack are Open Parties and Claims. Cupboard is already gone.

Checking the server…

  1. Install the Project Zomboid build the server asks for when you connect. Build 42.21.
  2. On Windows, close the game, open PowerShell, and run: irm https://cummytummy.com/pz-setup.ps1 -OutFile pz-setup.ps1; powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\pz-setup.ps1 The script subscribes to every Workshop item below, copies the ZombieBuddy loader into the game folder, raises memory to 6 GB, and sets the launch option -agentlib:zbNative --. Quit Steam when it asks, then start Steam again.
  3. On Mac or Linux, subscribe to ZombieBuddy, copy ZombieBuddy.jar into the game’s Java folder, and set the launch option to -javaagent:ZombieBuddy.jar --. The install notes list the folders. The Windows ZombieBuddy installer is the official alternative to the script.
  4. On the main menu, click Play, then Direct Connect. Enter pz.cummytummy.com. Leave the port empty, or use 16261.
  5. When ZombieBuddy shows a jar, click Allow. That includes Viewpoint, the Open All Containers fix, Knox Inventory, and Gael’s guns. If Knox says its Java part did not load, quit the game, check the Steam launch option is -agentlib:zbNative -- with no policy=deny-new, then start the game from Steam while holding Left Shift and click Allow on KnoxInventoryJava.jar. Quit and start once more before you join.
  6. When the server asks for a password, use the one you were given.
  7. In game, O turns first person on or off, Shift+O switches first and third person, Tab opens Knox Inventory, and Delete opens Viewpoint settings.
