I logged in to a hole where the wheat room was and a crater that started in the field and finished in the chest I had called fireproof because it was cobble. Cobble is not a geological opinion. The wheat is gone. The seeds that were in the second chest, the one under the stairs, are fine. The cat that hangs around the door was in the stair chest’s emotional orbit and is also fine. I am choosing to believe the mod’s meteor cats and our actual cat are different features.
Nothing was mined. The edges are scorched in a way a pickaxe does not bother with, and ClaimChalk’s border markers are still there. If your base loses a roof, look up and look at the ground before you write a name in chat. I almost wrote one. I would have been wrong, and wrong on this server sticks.

I walked the border. The claim did its job, which is stopping people, not stopping rocks. Rebuild can happen inside the same chunks. I helped replace the wall. I am not replacing a single-chest storage plan. Put the things you will cry about in two rooms. The hazards page says this in calmer words. This thread is the picture those words were short of.

The water wheel did not care, which is the best argument I have for a wheel instead of a machine that needs a roof and a chunk loader. Splinters in the axle, nothing structural. If you build a Create line under a tall empty sky, give it a spare cog in a chest that is not the sky chest. I have a spare. It is on the trade thread, not as a favor I will walk across the map to deliver during a second meteor.

Meteors are not a rollback event. I am not restoring the wheat. Plant again. If a meteor ever lands in a way that looks aimed, with a tunnel and a missing crate and no scorch, that is a different thread and you should say the chunk. This one was the mod.
