Mod requests sit here until they don’t

A request needs a Workshop or mod id and a problem. Taste is not a problem. Desync is.

ColdBoot

This is the queue. I will edit the top of this thread when something moves, rather than letting a yes hide under a no. Current refusals, so they are not re-asked every weekend: any second inventory mod on Zomboid, because Knox is the grid and two grids is how crates fork. Any map pack. Any gun pack besides Gael’s plus the compatibility mod we already run. A “small” item mod with hundreds of containers. Client shaders on Tekxit, which you may run yourself and may not add to the server list.

Zomboid changes mean a new Windows script and a night where VersionMismatch is expected. Tekxit changes mean a pack version bump, which we are not doing while the server is pinned to 16.8.4. If the public pack is on a newer number, that is the pack author’s life. Our door is 16.8.4 until this thread says otherwise.

MothOnTheRoof

I asked for a farming mod that adds more crops than the cooking mods already accept. Withdrawn. Project Cook, Vanilla Foods Expanded, and Sapph’s are enough dishes that I cannot keep the pot straight. More seeds would be a second language. If the cabbage row fails it is because of water, not because the mod list lacks a heritage tomato.

KnoxTab

Asked whether we can drop Open All Containers because people keep using it in the laundromat. Answer from practice: no, it is the right tool in a warehouse, and the warehouse is most of the map. The fix is the rule, which is already written. I will keep complaining in the base thread when someone does it anyway. That is not a mod request. That is a personality.

AngleIron

Not asking for a Create addon. The pack’s Create is enough, and an addon that changes stress or adds a block the server does not have is how you get a ghost machine. If you want a contraption documented, write it up like the windmill. Documentation is cheaper than a jar.
