Who has the van keys this week

The van is a crate with wheels. The key on the nail is the claim. The name on the dash is the loan.

Spare key is on the nail by the east door, which is the door we do not barricade. Primary key stays with whoever last filled the tank, which this week is me, until I hand it over. If you take the spare, write your name on the card on the dash. The card is a rectangle of paper. It is not a role-play prop. It is how the next person knows the van is not stolen when it is gone for two hours.

Condition On Dash is on so you can see the sad tire before you leave. If a part is in the red, do not “just get to the warehouse.” The warehouse run can wait a day. A tow from the middle of the highway cannot, because nobody wants to do it while first person and a horde disagree about the jack.

Trunk rules, since the trunk came home as a junk drawer. Base supplies that live in the van are the fuel can, the jack, and one weapon you can use if the engine dies. Loot from a run comes out before you hang the key. I opened it and found three jackets, a cabbage, and somebody’s skill magazine. The magazine is now in the book crate. The cabbage was a crime against the pot.

Park nose-out, not across the door. The van is not a barricade. We have planks. If you wreck it, stay in chat. A quiet log-off and a missing van is the version of this I do not want to write a second time.

Fuel: if the trip was for the kitchen or a shared gun crate, use the base cans and refill them. If the trip was your own outpost, bring the fuel back or leave a can that is as full as the one you took. I am not counting ounces. I am counting whether the generator and the van can both survive a Tuesday.

Hotwiring a car inside the safehouse because the nail was empty is still theft. Find the person. The nail is empty only when someone forgot the card, and that someone is in this thread now, with their name, which is the system working late rather than not working.
