The mod list, grouped
The Workshop list is long because first person, guns, food, and UI each dragged in their own fixes. It is not an invitation to keep going.
The join page has every id. This page is the shape of the list, so you can tell a missing requirement from a mod you are free to ignore in play. You are not free to unsubscribe from it.
Loader and camera
ZombieBuddy, Project Viewpoint, TREE in 3D, the surface, door, barricade, and light fixes, both Viewpoint fix packs, recoil and ADS, true ballistics, DLSS frame generation, the Viewpoint interface, the 3D model pack, and OldPoint. This cluster is the look of the server. Viewpoint explains how to live in it. ZombieBuddy explains how to start it.
Hands and containers
Knox Inventory, Open All Containers, Better Sorting, and Common Sense. The grid is the inventory. The other three change how fast you move items and how items are named. Knox is the one that breaks the server if you skip the jar.
Weapons and cloth
Firearm Pack Compatibility, GaelGunStore, H.E.C.U., Alice’s Weapon Sling, Buttstroke, Medieval Z, both Bushcraft Gear mods, Vanilla Gear Expanded, and Vanilla Outfits Expanded. Guns on the guns page. Clothes on the weather page, because a coat is a temperature item first.
Food, furniture, blood
Project Cook, Vanilla Foods Expanded, Sapph’s Cooking, Neat Building, Fitted Sheets, More Damaged Objects, and Rain Cleans Blood. Kitchens and walls are already documented. These mods are why those pages mention sheets and rain specifically.
Character progress
Skill Recovery Journal, Has Been Read, and Gyde’s Trait Magazines. The journal is the one that matters after a death. Read skills before you treat a magazine as a backup soul.
UI and the quiet utilities
NeatUI Framework, PZ Pulse, Jeeve’s QoL, Condition On Dash, Skully’s Zombie Collision, errorMagnifier, and Mod Update and Alert System. They are allowed to change buttons. They are not allowed to be removed because a button moved. Condition On Dash is part of driving. errorMagnifier is how we want crashes reported. The update alerter is how you notice the list moved before you blame the password.
Asking for more
Write the request on the mod request thread with the Workshop id and the problem it solves. “This looks cool” is a weak problem. A mod that overlaps Knox, Viewpoint, or the gun stack is probably a no, because those stacks already fight each other. Map mods and item packs that add a thousand new containers are a no unless the host has a weekend to test them. Client-side reshades that do not touch gameplay do not need a thread. They also do not need to be in the server list.
When the list changes, the Windows script changes with it. Rerun it. A client on yesterday’s list is the same failure as the wrong game build.
