Rules
CummyTummy is a private co-op. Project Zomboid runs at pz.cummytummy.com on build 42.21. Tekxit 4 runs at mc.cummytummy.com on pack 16.8.4. The name is a joke. The rules are not.
These rules exist so a base you left overnight is still a base in the morning. If a written rule and a spur-of-the-moment deal disagree, the written rule wins until the host changes it on this page. How to connect, which mods load, and what the keys do is kept in the wiki. Arguments, build logs, and questions live on the board.
Shared
- The server password is given to people, not posted. Do not put it on this site, in a screenshot, or in a public Steam comment. If you think it leaked, say so in game and it gets changed.
- No griefing. That includes tearing down a wall, opening every container onto the floor, leading a horde to a door, lava-casting a roof, or “just testing” a contraption inside someone else’s claim.
- No stealing from a claimed base, a marked crate, a corpse the owner has not released, or a vehicle that still has an owner. Loot in the world that nobody has marked is free. The loot page is the long version.
- Killing another player is not a game mode here. Accidents happen with cars, guns, and explosives. Deliberate PVP gets you removed. If two people want a duel, they do it away from bases and only after both say yes in chat, and the loser keeps their right to their gear.
- No hacked clients, item spawners, or “just this once” creative mode. If the host is testing something, the host will say so before the world looks different.
- Chat can be crude. It cannot be harassment, slurs, or anything sexual about a minor. Leave the conversation if you are told to stop. The server name is not a license.
- Do not add mods on your own and then join. Project Zomboid has to match the Workshop list. Tekxit has to be 16.8.4, not whatever build the launcher currently calls latest. A client-only shader is your business. A gameplay mod is everyone’s.
- Ask before you record someone else’s voice or post their base as a tour. Build logs on the board are welcome when the builders are fine with it.
- This website has no accounts. Threads are written up from play and from things people ask to have posted. You cannot “sign up” to bypass a rule.
Project Zomboid
- Use Direct Connect to pz.cummytummy.com. The server is not in the public browser. Leaving the port blank is fine. 16261 is the same door.
- Run the real mod list. On Windows that is the setup script on the join page. On Mac and Linux, install ZombieBuddy the way the loader page describes, then allow the jars it asks for. A half-loaded Knox Inventory is how crates get desynced.
- Safehouses are for the people who built them and the people they invite. Do not claim a building you found stocked by someone else. Do not claim a whole neighborhood to “save it for later.”
- Guns are loud. Do not sight-in a rifle in the parking lot of a lived-in base. The guns page covers Gael’s pack, the sling, and why a buttstroke is often the better idea.
- If you die on a shared run, your body and your skill journal are yours until you say otherwise. Other people may move the body somewhere safe. They may not redistribute the bag. See skills and the journal.
- Cars are scarce enough to fight over, so we don’t. The keys live with the base that maintains the car. Borrowing is normal. Disappearing with the only working van is not. See cars.
- Food in a community kitchen is for the people who cook and the people who are asked to eat. A pantry with a sign is not a public dumpster you empty on the way out of town. See food.
- When the disconnect says VersionMismatch, the server is catching up to Steam. Wait. Do not keep a private build pinned and then ask why the door will not open.
Tekxit 4
- Join mc.cummytummy.com with Tekxit 4 (Official) 16.8.4 through the Technic Launcher, on a paid account. Vanilla, Bedrock, and a cracked login will not connect. Give the instance at least 5 GB. The pack’s own notes ask for that much.
- Land is claimed with Open Parties and Claims. Cupboard claims are not the system on 16.8.4. Claim the chunks you actually use. A party is the people who build there, not a list of everyone you have ever waved at. Details are on the claims and power page.
- Chunk loaders stay on machines that must run, and they come off when the job is done. Loading a town, a quarry, and three mob farms while you sleep is how the server falls over. The pack’s loaders can time out. Check them.
- Create contraptions stay inside your claim. A water wheel is welcome. A bearing that reaches into the next base is a grief, even if you think the animation is funny.
- Meteors from Oh My, Meteors can damage builds. That is the mod working. Rebuilding after one is the owner’s job, with help if you offer it. Calling a meteor “someone mined me” is not a report.
- Do not pick up a dimensional door with Carry On. The pack disables that pickup because it crashes. Do not open a SeedLight rift into someone else’s rooms. Nether portals on this version can still spread. Keep them away from walls you do not own. The hazards page collects these.
- Angel rings from Kibe work in multiplayer on this pack. Flight is not permission to scout chests. If you are wearing one inside a claim that is not yours, land and leave.
- Spawn is a road, not a base. Do not dig the spawn chunks into a pit, and do not wall the portal. Move out, then claim.
When something breaks
Say what happened, where, and who was on. “Someone stole it” with no chunk and no time is hard to act on. A chest log, a claim border, and a name are enough. The host’s decision is the one that sticks. Repeat grief, password leaks, and cheating are a removal, not a vote.
If you want a rule changed, write it up on the board and play by the current one until this page changes. The wiki is allowed to explain a rule. It is not allowed to quietly replace one.
